Find Out How Others See You With This Quick Test

Have you ever wondered just how others see you? If you’re like most people you probably have, and often too. But just how close do you think you get to really seeing yourself the way others do? Also (if you are like most people) you probably tend to underestimate yourself by a factor of at least 20 percent. So how can you get a realistic self-analysis?

Well, there’s a short psychoanalysis test given by Human Relations departments at many top companies which helps them to get a better insight concerning their employees and prospective employees.

It only takes a couple of minutes to complete but it tends to produce surprisingly accurate results. You may have been asked to complete a test such as this already, in which case you may recognise some of the questions below. But did you know what the answers revealed about you to your employer, or prospective employer?

Now you can find out for yourself how your boss will see you after taking such a test. What’s more, because the answers are for who you are now (not who you were in the past), this is a fun test to learn a little more about yourself too, and could serve as a starting point for setting personal improvement goals.

So, how did you do? Please discuss your results in the comments and let me know if you think this test is accurate. Oh, and if you like, you can choose different answers and click the button again to see whether the analysis changes.

    Very Accurate

Interesting. I did as suggested and took the quiz 3 times, changing all the answers. Each time, the resulting analysis could be viewed as accurate. I guess we change and can be those things at different times. Again, interesting.

    Spot on!

Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who’s constantly the centre of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate and understanding; someone who’ll always cheer them up and help them out.

Totally wrong im a loner not the center of attention.

The analyses sound like horoscopes (a defining characteristic of pseudosciences like astrology is a vagueness that allows contradictions to be explained away. Similarly to astrology these answers are worded so vaguely that they might apply to most people). I find these types of surveys are inconclusive and should not be used as a source of insight on people, because most questions can be answered with “It depends on the situation”, and often times none of the options seem appropriate. The analysis I got was inaccurate.

Quite interesting. I think we definitely do change, depending on the situation. However, I got a much more positive response than I expected! This could be that I’m harder on myself than others are/would be. It’s a fun quiz that gives some food for thought.
